The North County Music Makers
(formerly The Music Men)
We’re excited to share that the Music Men Barbershop Chorus, which has proudly been an all-male group, is now warmly welcoming women singers into our family. To reflect this wonderful change, we renamed ourselves the North County Music Makers. We’d love for you, ladies and guys, to join us on Tuesday evenings from 7:00PM to 9:30PM at the San Marcos Lutheran Church, Luther Hall, 3419 Grand Avenue, San Marcos. Come be part of our joyful music community.
Our barbershop chorus (an affiliate of the Barbershop Harmony Society) is the premiere acapella singing group in North San Diego County. If you like to sing and enjoy harmonizing, our Chorus is just right for you, allowing you to connect with like-minded men and women in your area. A person who sings is found to be more content, happier, and healthier in life. So do yourself a favor and check us out.
It is not necessary to read music or play an instrument (although that will make it easier for you). We provide the sheet music and learning tracks that allow you to practice the songs in the privacy of your own home.
